Tue 10th, Feb 2004
Composite product specialist CTG will be exhibiting at Oceanology International for the first time. The Banbury, UK-based company manufactures high performance, niche products for a range of technically demanding industries including motorsport, aerospace, and medical imaging.
For the subsea industry, CTG specialises in the production of custom filament-wound carbon and glass fibre composite pressure vessels in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, for a host of underwater applications including housings and buoyancy tanks (pictured). The company's customers in the subsea industry include Thales Geosolutions.
A range of these products will be on display at stand 154 at OI, along with examples of CTG's ultra lightweight composite propeller shafts and driveshafts, as well as CTG's anti-corrosion coating for light alloy components- CTG Keronite.
In addition to the exhibition, CTG Technical Director Dr Roger Davidson will deliver a paper on Design and Manufacture of Deepsea Composite Pressure Vessels at the ATUV (Advances In Technology For Underwater Vehicles) conference during the show.
