CTG presentation at MIA Transferring Technologies Conference
Thu 31st, Oct 2002
CTG's Technical Director, Dr Roger Davidson, is to be one of a small number of speakers at this year's MIA Transferring Technologies Conference, to be held at QinetiQ on November 20.
This ground-breaking conference focuses on technology transfer between industries, and will give delegates a valuable insight into how leading motorsport companies such as Renault F1, Prodrive and Xtrac use their motorsport expertise to gain competitive advantage in other industry sectors.
The conference will also focus on how companies like CTG have successfully transferred technologies both into and out of motorsport.
Dr Davidson remarked: "CTG is the perfect example of a technology transfer company. We continually transfer technologies developed for motorsport to other industries, and vice versa, such as our F1 pressure vessel technology adapted for deepsea applications, and our MRI scanner fastener technology adapted for F1 engine applications. Our CTG Keronite ceramic coating technology is constantly being used for new applications across a range of industries."
