CTG Soapbox to race again
Tue 17th, Sep 2002
The CTG soapbox, which recently finished 6th overall at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is to race again later this month. The CTG vehicle, now known as the 'Flying Propshaft' due to its chassis construction from composite propshaft tubes, will compete at the Prescott Soapbox Gravity Race, organised by the Bugatti Owner's Club.
The event is part of the Midland Championship and Gold Cup Finale meeting taking place on Sunday September 29 at the Prescott hill in Gloucestershire. The course should suit the Flying Propshaft better than the Goodwood course, so the team is hoping for another excellent result. A full report of the event will appear here.
