Bright Future for CTG
Wed 11th, Apr 2001Oxfordshire's Crompton Technology Group (CTG) has expanded into new premises. CTG emerged from the well-established Crompton Plastics in November 2000.
Crompton Plastics is now operating as a division of CTG, and is a specialist in polyurethane foil design, production and development for the marine leisure and competition markets. Crompton Plastics also operates in automotive and other markets.
Other divisions of CTG are Crompton Coatings, concerned with Keronite ceramic coating applications, and Crompton Advanced Composites, which develops and manufactures suspension components for cryogenic and medical imaging applications.
The new 24000 sq. ft. manufacturing and development facility will help CTG to realise its great potential. The previous headquarters will continue to house the Crompton Plastics division.
CTGs expansion has already created four new positions. Brian Bloomfield has been appointed Polyurethane Sales Manager, while Jeff Hilton joins as Marketing Assistant.
Two Development Engineers, Alan Pope and Richard Galvin, join CTGs new Development Team. These new positions have been created to continually develop and market CTG and its products in the future.
