CTG has recently completed the current order of high torque composite rail shafts to Skoda Transportation a.s in Czech Republic. The application is for the Skoda Locomotive 109E, intended for priority trains where the locomotive's power, speed and interoperability can be fully applied. The 109E's design and livery were created in collaboration with the famous Porsche Design studio.
The unique high torque composite shaft designed by CTG was developed over a period of 6-9 months which was within the customer's required timeframe. CTG delivered all units on time and in full further reinforced by quote from Petr Vlcek – Sourcing Manager at Skoda Transportation a.s.
"As per information from my colleagues is the composite shafts according current tests and operational tests reliable solution for use in railway vehicles and I personally appreciate the mutual cooperation between SKODA and CTG as a successful and reliable relationship."
